Day One at the Princeton Invitational

Princeton, N.J. - Large defeated Brown's I. Adsuar 6-4, 6-1 in the first round of the 22nd annual Princeton Invitational on Friday morning, and she came back to defeat Yale's S. Hiniker 6-3, 6-4 in the second round. Priya Bhupathi and Kristi Watson won both of their respective first-round matches, however, no Princeton player joined Large in the Semifinals.
Princeton's Kavitha Krishnamurthy and Shikha Uberoi were unable to compete due to injury, and play will begin tomorrow at 9 a.m.
