PRINCETON, N.J. - Rutgers wrestlers cruised to a 26-11 victory against Princeton at Dillon Gymnasium in the Tigers final home match of the season.
Princeton's only winner in the first eight matches was Ryan Bonfiglio (Lansdale, Pa.) at 165 pounds as the Scarlet Knights built a 26-3 lead. Bonfiglio took an 8-3 decision from Bryon Lauer.
Princeton won the last two matches as Juan Venturi (Houston, Texas) earned a technical fall against Jon Rodriguez at 133 pounds, and Joe Clarke (Atlanta, Ga.) took a 5-3 decision from Tom Wysocki at 141.
Rutgers improves to 12-3 overall, while Princeton is 12-8.
