Princeton Men's Ice Hockey All-Decade Team Announced

Princeton, N.J. - The Princeton men's ice hockey all-decade team was just announced by FansOnly, who conducted the voting on www.GoPrincetonTigers.com, which is the official website of the Princeton University athletic department.
The following six players were selected:
F - Jeff Halpern '98 - 28 goals in 1997-98 established a Princeton single-season scoring record ... third all-time in points (141), fifth in goals (60) and third in assists (81)
F - Syl C. Apps '99 - ECAC's top defensive forward in 1998-99 after being a finalist the prior two years
F - Andre Faust '92 - second all-time in points (150), third in goals (63) and second in assists (87)
D - Steve Shirreffs '99 - third all-time in defensemen scoring (16-48-64) ... second-team All-America
D - Jeff Kampersal '92 - first-team All-Ivy and current coach of Princeton women's hockey team
G - Erasmo Salterelli '98 - first all-time in career save percentage (.896) and in saves in a season (820)
