Matt Maglione Named ECAC/CCM Rookie of the Week in Men's Ice Hockey

Princeton, N.J. - Freshman defenseman Matt Maglione (Fayetteville, N.Y.) was named the ECAC/CCM Rookie of the Week for his stellar play during this past weekend. Maglione scored two of Princeton's three goals against this weekend, including the overtime game-winner vs. Vermont on Saturday Feb. 24. The Fayetteville, N.Y. native has played in 25-consecutive games, since sitting out the first two contests vs. Niagara in early November. His +15 rating is the highest on the Princeton team and is +5 more than the closest player, David Schneider, who has a +10 rating. Maglione has four goals and four assists this season.
