Princeton Storms Out to First Round Lead at Jacksonville State Invitational

Gadsden, Ala. - The Princeton women's golf team bolted out to a six-shot lead in day one of the Jackson State Invitational at the Silver Lakes Golf Club, which is a part of the famous Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail in Alabama. Freshman Esty Dweck shot a first-round score of 76 to lead after day one and teammate Vanessa Redman finished in third place with score of 79. Julia Allison fired an 86, Natalie Christensen shot 90 and Megan Milam chimed in with a 91 in the cold and rainy conditions on Monday.
Princeton tees off early tomorrow morning, and the closest competitor is host Jacksonville State, which goes into day two just six shots in back of the Tigers
