Philadelphia, Pa. - The women's tennis team fell to the Quakers of UPenn 6-1. The Tigers move to 2-5 on the season and 0-1 in the Ivy League. This lost follows a decisive 6-1 victory over the Scarlet Knights of Rutgers earlier this week.
The only shinning moment for the Tigers was the point that Bhargava picked up playing in the sixth singles position. Krishnamurthy and Shikha Uberoi did not play at all, over the team's spring break trip to California, due to injury. Krishnamurthy did not finish her number 1 singles match this afternoon. Playing in the number 2 singles position, Gailor Large lost a tough match by tiebreaker.
The Tigers return home on Sunday, April 1 at 11 a.m. to face Virginia Commonwealth. Princeton will host Ivy League rival, Brown on April 6 at 2 p.m.
