Women's Tennis Drops To Columbia

New York, N.Y. - The women's tennis team dropped today's match against Columbia, 4-3. The Tigers move to 6-10 on the season and currently stand at 2-4 in the Ivy League. Princeton will host Cornell on Sun. April 22, 2001 for their next and final Ivy League match.
Playing in the No. 1 and No. 2 Singles positions, Gailor Large and Kristi Watson continue to earn points for the Tigers in tough matches. Priya Bhuphathi playing in the No. 3 singles spot earned the third point for the Tigers. Princeton had to adjust to playing on the indoor clay of Columbia's courts. At the end of the day, though several Tigers played well and pushed their matches to long sets, the Tigers fell to the Lions, 4-3.
