Bigley Named Assistant Wrestling Coach
Head Princeton Wrestling Coach Michael New recently named Kenneth Bigley (Northern Iowa 99') as his top assistant for the upcoming academic year. Bigley comes to Princeton from Ohio University where he served as the graduate assistant coach for the previous two seasons, helping to coach Ohio to a 2001 Mid-American Conference Championship.
Bigley competed for the University of Northern Iowa where he was a four-time letter-winner, twice qualified for the NCAA Championship Tournament, and was twice named an Academic All-American by the National Wrestling Coaches Association. He currently holds a master's degree in Sports Administration from Ohio University and is currently working towards completing a second master's degree in Environmental Studies.
Following his appointment as assistant coach Bigley stated, "I'm very excited to become a part of the Princeton University community and the Princeton wrestling team. Coach New has given me a great opportunity to work with the finest student-athletes in the nation, and I'm looking forward to helping him towards his goal of bringing a national championship to Princeton University. Princeton Wrestling is a model example of college athletics and it is a model that I am very pleased to be a part of."
