Women's Golf In Sixth After Day One of Nittany Lion Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. - Freshman Avery Kiser (Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.) shot a two-over par 149 to lead Princeton to a sixth place finish at the end of day one of the Nittany Lion Invitational. Kiser is currently in a tie for third place, one shot off the lead.
Freshman Meg Nakamura (Park Ridge, Ill.) shot a 12-over par 156 to finish in a tie for 20th at the end of the first day of competition. Sophomore Esty Dwek (Geneva, Switzerland) is currently in a tie for 28th after carding a 14-over par 148. Junior Vanessa Redman (Orinda, Calif.) is in a tie for 33rd with a 160, freshman Taryn Haliday (Lake Oswego, Ore.) sits in a tie for 42nd with a 162, and sophomore Sarah Kapnick rounds out the top-six with her 165, good for a tie for 52nd.
Princeton will close out the Penn State Invitational tomorrow.
