Princeton, N.J. - Jackie Arcario (So. Longwood, Fla.) playing in the No. 1 singles spot, helped Princeton sweep Columbia on the final day of the Fall Invitational 7-0. In the round robin format tournament Princeton also faced Rutgers and Brown. Two Tiger teams were victorious in the doubles portion of the tournament, winning both the A Flight and the B Flight.
Earlier in the tournament Princeton defeated Rutgers 6-0 and lost to Brown 3-5.
Arcario had a strong showing throughout the tournament, competing in the No. 1 singles spot in all three singles matches and also playing on the Flight A champions doubles team. Teamed with Alex Kobishyn (So. Lynbrook, N.Y.) the Tigers defeated Sarita Konka and Kristen Martinez of Columbia, 8-6 in the Flight A doubles final.
Princeton's Bettina Roberts (So. Hilton Head, S.C.) and Kristen Carlin (Fr. Moorestown, N.J.) defeated Kerry Meath and Bridget Barbera of Brown in the Flight B doubles final.
