Princeton Men's Water Polo Defeats Queens in Season Opener

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Princeton men's water polo team opened its season this afternoon with a 10-4 win over Queens in the first game of the Princeton Invitational, held at DeNunzio Pool.
Junior Robert Urquhart (Ann Arbor, Mich.) scored a team-leading four goals in the contest. Senior co-captain Marshall Roslyn (Philadelphia, Pa.) added three goals while junior Kevin Foster (Davis, Calif.) finished with two scores. Sophomore Dan McKenna (Wyndmoor, Pa.) also contributed a goal to Princeton's offensive attack.
Senior co-captain Jon Pharris (Newport Beach, Calif.) had a great game in goal for the Tigers, finishing with 17 saves while allowing only four goals.
Princeton will be back in action tonight at 6:30 p.m. when it takes on Johns Hopkins. The Tigers will meet Saint Francis tomorrow at 10 a.m.
