Water Polo Opens Southern Championships with 15-4 Victory

Gant Morgner tallied 10 saves as the Tigers cruised to a 15-4 victory over Salem International as Princeton opened the Southern Championships. Princeton is hosting the tournament, the winner of which advances as the No. 1 seed to the Eastern Championships.
Sam Bliss, T.J. Edwards and Dan McKenna all had a big game for the Tigers offensively. Edwards tallied five goals and Bliss tallied four. Jacob Harter, Mike McKenna and Dean Riskas each tallied one goal in the win.
Princeton is currently ranked 13th in the nation and entered the Southern Championships as the No. 1 seed and defending champion. The Tigers returns to action on Saturday, November 2 at 8:30 a.m. when they face the No. 12th seed, Mercyhurst.
