Tigers Compete at Central State Open

On Sunday, 14 members of the Princeton wrestling team competed at the Central State Open in Ewing, N.J. Four Tigers place in the top-six in their respective weight classes and divisions.
In the freshmen/sophomore division, Ilya Boroditsky went 3-1 and placed second at 157 lbs. Boroditsky won his first three matches before falling to Navy's Craig Dziewiatkoski in the final. At the 141 lb weight class in freshmen/sophomore division, William Trudell had a record of 3-2 en route to a sixth-place finish.
In the junior/senior division, Brian Kirschbaum was 3-1 and placed second in the 133 lb weight class after falling in the championship match to Dave Ilaria of the College of New Jersey. Jack Fleming was 1-1 and placed fifth at 184 lbs.
The Tigers return to action this coming weekend at two different tournaments. The majority of the team will compete at the Bloomsburg Duals in Bloomsburg, Pa., on Saturday, while some members will wrestle at the Missouri Open in Colmbia, Mo., on Sunday. Results:
