Women's Tennis Falls To Pepperdine, 6-1

Malibu, CA - The women's tennis team opened it spring trip with a 6-1 loss at Pepperdine on Saturday afternoon at Ralph-Straus Tennis Center. The defeat drops Princeton to 2-4, while Pepperdine improves to 4-10.
Pepperdine won two out of the three doubles matches to take the opening point. Priya Bhupathi and Kristi Watson handed Pepperdine's Alexsandra Kujawska and Karin Schlapbach an 8-5 loss at second doubles. Avantika Bhargava and Kavitha Krishnamurthy dropped an 8-5 decision at first doubles and Stephanie Berg and Alex Kobishyn fell 9-8 (4) in a tight match at third doubles.
Berg provided for Princeton's only singles point with a 6-4, 6-1 win over Anna Anderson at fourth singles.
