Campbell Places Sixth at NCAAs

Princeton, NJ - Princeton University senior Lindsay Campbell placed sixth in the NCAA women's fencing Epee competition, earning second team All-America honors. For Campbell, it was the second time in her four-year career that she had earned All-America honors. The Saker Hts., Ohio native finished the regular season with a team-best record of 29-3, and was first team All-Ivy.
Also competing at the NCAAs was senior Maya Lawrence, who placed ninth, earning honorable mention All-America honors. Lawrence, another first team All-Ivy selection, finished the regular season with 27 wins, and went a perfect 15-0 in the Ivy League.
In women's Saber, Princeton freshman Catherine Pack placed 16th
The men begin fencing on Saturday, and wrap up the NCAA Championship on Sunday afternoon. Senior Matt Fitzgerald, junior Bill Beaver and sophomore Soren Thompson will be competing in Epee, with junior Eddie Chou is competing in Sabre.
