Brie Galicinao named to Buzz Classic All-Tournament Team

Princeton, N.J. - Brie Galicinao was recently named to the All-Tournament team of the Buzz Classic. The tournament was held in Marietta, Georgia and was hosted by Georgia Tech from March 22-24. Twenty-four teams from around the country competed in the tournament.
Galicinao pitched two games over the course of the weekend. She gave up eight hits and struckout 10 Seminole batters in the match against No. 21 Florida State. Galicinao's solo shot over the right centerfield fence to open the sixth inning was the only run that the Tigers scored against the Seminoles as Princeton lost the match 5-1.
Galicinao also pitched against the Buckeyes of Ohio State. She gave up four hits and struckout three Buckeyes as the Tigers dropped the game, 5-3. At the plate, Galicinao hit two-for-four, scoring one run and picking up one RBI. Over the course of the tournament, Galicinao hit six-for-15 at the plate, registering at least one hit in every game. Currently she is batting, .360 and has a team-high 27 hits.
