Ford Earns All-ECAC Honors
May 27, 2026 | Softball
Princeton junior Karis Ford has been named to the All-ECAC team, the Eastern College Athletic Conference announced.
Ford was one of 13 student-athletes selected to the team and was honored as the team's designated player. The All-ECAC honorees came from conferences across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, including the Ivy League, NEC, Patriot League, America East, MAAC and Atlantic 10.
Ford was one of two Ivy League players named All-ECAC and is Princeton's first All-ECAC honoree since Adrienne Chang earned the honor in 2022, also at designated player.
The recognition adds to a standout season for Ford, who helped Princeton win a fifth straight Ivy League title, capture the Ivy League Tournament championship and advance to an NCAA regional for the second time in three seasons.
Ford was a first-team All-Ivy League selection and a third-team NFCA All-East Region pick in 2026 after hitting seven home runs and driving in 29 runs in helping lead a Princeton offense that set a program single-season record with a .347 batting average. Ford also moved into Princeton's career top 10 in home runs through her first three seasons.
Princeton finished the 2026 season at 34-15 overall and 18-3 in Ivy League play, matching the program record for Ivy League wins in a season. The Tigers swept through the Ivy League Tournament in three games to earn the league's automatic NCAA bid and went on to pick up an NCAA regional win over Eastern Illinois for the program's second NCAA tournament win in three years.
