Dominguez Earns Bronze Medal with Dominican Republic at Central American & Caribbean Games

Rising senior Graciela Dominguez helped the host Dominican Republic capture a bronze medal at the 2026 Central American & Caribbean Games, which wrapped for softball on July 31Â in Santo Domingo.
Dominguez hit .462 while going 6 for 13 with three runs scored, three RBI, three walks and a triple, reaching base in all five games, and getting hits in four of five contests to finish with a .563 on-base percentage and a .615 slugging percentage.Â

Dominguez is coming a junior season that saw her earn first-team All-Ivy League honors in 2026, batting .427 to finish with the fourth-best single-season average in program history and getting 70 hits to finish with the fifth-most in a season in program history. She helped lead the Tigers to a fifth straight Ivy League regular-season championship, the program's second Ivy League Tournament title in three seasons, and an NCAA Regional victory, as Princeton also set a program single-season record with a .347 team batting average. Dominguez was recently named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team for the second consecutive season and is a two-time Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete.
