Men's Tennis Knocks Off Temple 7-0

PRINCETON, NJ - Princeton sailed to a 7-0 win over Temple in men's tennis action on Friday afternoon at the Lenz Tennis Center. The win improves the Tigers to 7-6 and provides some momentum going into Saturday's Ivy League opener at Penn on Saturday.
The team of Tim Kofol and Judson Williams at No. 1 doubles and Josh Burman and Tyler Wynne at No. 2 doubles each picked up 8-2 wins. Hendrick Chasse and Darren Joe defeated Temple's Darryl Edwards and Thorso Bossolani 8-1 to complete the doubles sweep.
Williams, Burman and Kofol each recorded 6-1, 6-1 win in their singles matches. Friedman picked up a 6-2, 6-0 win over Bossolani at fourth singles. Nick Benjamin defeated Dan Selig 6-1, 6-0 at fifth singles and Blaise Goswani handed Edwards a 6-0, 6-2 loss at sixth singles.
Princeton will open its Ivy League season tomorrow at noon vs. Pennsylvania. The Tigers will then return home for a pair of Ivy League matches. They will host Brown on Friday, April 5 at 2 p.m. and Yale on Saturday, April 6 at noon.
