Princeton Upset At Kencht Cup

Princeton, N.J. - The defending national champion women's lightweight crew placed third at Sunday's Kencht Cup on the Cooper River in Camden, N.J. The Princeton 1st Varsity finished behind No. 1 Wisconsin and No. 5 Harvard with a time of 7:00.7
Wisconsin won the race in 6:52.1 and Harvard edged out Princeton with a time of 6:59.8. Delaware, Georgetown and Rhode Island finished fourth, fifth and sixth respectively.
The Tigers won the 1st Varsity Four, crossing the finish line seven seconds ahead of second-place Wisconsin. Princeton finished in 7:53.4, Wisconsin ended the race in 8:00.4
Princeton next heads to Cambridge, Mass to face Harvard on Saturday, May 4.
