REDWOOD SHORES, Calif. – The #2 Princeton University women's lightweight rowing team won the Class of 2015 Cup against #7 Stanford Saturday morning.

"These were some good wins and against some strong looking Stanford boats," said Head Coach Paul Rassam. "This week has been a nice step forward. The athletes are bringing great energy and intent to the training and we are making progress. The spirit is good. It's always nice for the athletes to get some time together on a trip like this with its change of scenery."

The Tigers' 8+ (6:56.9) crossed the finished line ahead of the Cardinal (7:04.4) while the 4+ (7:59.75) also earned the win over Stanford (8:09.31). In the 2x, Princeton (8:24.58) finished just behind the Cardinal (8:20.54).
