Men's Tennis Sweeps Columbia

NEW YORK, NY - Princeton won two out of three doubles matches and swept all six singles matches en route to a 7-0 win at Columbia in Ivy League men's tennis action on Friday afternoon in New York, NY. The Tigers improve to 13-9, 4-2 in Ivy action with the win.
Hendrik Chasse and Trevor Smith defeated Alan Bohane and Yoku Kiuchi 8-6 at second doubles, while Dan Friedman and Josh Burman handed Rajeev Emany and Eric Wallace an 8-4 loss at third doubles. Judson Williams and Tim Kofol dropped a 8-3 decision to Oscar Chow and Rohan Saikia at first doubles in Princeton's only loss of the day.
Three of the Tigers singles wins came via three-set victories. Williams defeated Chow 6-1, 2-6, 6-2 at first singles. Kofol turned in a 6-2, 2-6, 6-3 win at fifth singles and Nick Benjamin outlasted Saikia 7-6, 3-6, 6-4 at sixth singles. Smigh, Burman and Darren Joe each won their singles matched in two sets.
Princeton will play its final home match of the regular season on Sunday, April 21, when it hosts Cornell at noon.
