Princeton Holds Second After Day One At Ivy League Championships

Princeton, N.J. - Avery Kiser shot rounds of 73 and 76 to finish the first day of the 2002 Ivy League Championships in Trenton, N.J. with the overall lead. Princeton sits in second after two rounds with a 36-hole team total of 651.
Megan Milam shot rounds of 83 and has a 166 heading into Sunday's final round. Princeton is 14 strokes back of first-place Yale and 19 strokes up on third-place Brown.
Esty Dwek and Meg Nakamura each finished the day with a total of 168 and are tied for 10th overall. Captain Vanessa Redman wrapped up the Princeton scoring with 178 and is tied for 22nd among all individuals.
Princeton has 18 holes remaining in defensive of its Ivy crown and looks to make a run at Yale as play begins at 9 a.m. tomorrow morning.
