Vanessa Redman Leads Women's Golf Team To Northeast Championship

Amherst, Mass. - Junior Vanessa Redman took the individual crown as Princeton's women's golf team won the Northeast Championship in Amherst, Mass. over the weekend. Princeton scored a 317 with three of its individuals placing the tournament's Top-4 at Hickory Ridge Golf Club.
Play was stopped on Sunday with temperatures in the mid-30's and blustery winds. The Tigers finished the abbreviated tournament with an 11-stroke victory over second-place Brown and a 17 stroke win over third-place Boston College.
Redman finished with a three-over par 77 to take home medalist honors. Freshman Avery Kiser tied for second with a 78 and Meg Nakamura shot a 39 on the front nine and finished with an 80 on to place fourth overall.
Princeton's Esty Dwek tied for eighth with and 82 and junior Megan Milam shot an 84 to tie for 17th at the Championships. The Tigers top the field for the first time this spring and end the season with four straight Top-3 finishes.
