Stover's Six Goals Give Water Polo 11-7 Win Over Pacific

PRINCETON, N.J. - John Stover scored a season-high six goals to lead the men's water polo team past Pacific, 11-7, and end its two game losing streak. The Tigers improved to 12-2 overall with the win over the No. 16 ranked team in the nation.
The game was evenly matched in the first half, with a 2-2 score at the end of the first period and a 5-5 tie at the break. Stover sparked Princeton's offense with a goal with 2:53 remaining in the third and the Tigers outscored Pacific six to two in the second half.
Reid Joseph had two goals while Jamal Motlagh, Chris Kelsch and Mike McKenna each added one. Peter Sabbatini made 12 saves in goal.
Princeton faces UC-Davis at 10 a.m. and Air Force at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow.
