State College, Pa. - The Princeton women's golf team sits in sixth place following the first two rounds of the Nittany Lion Fall Invitational at Penn State's Blue Course. With the final round set for Sunday morning, Princeton is 32 shots behind first-place Rollins. Maryland, Penn State, James Madison and Ohio occupy the spots between Rollins and Princeton.
The top Tiger through two rounds is Meg Nakamura. She shot two-over in the first round and six-over in the second round to be at 152 and tied for 12th. The leader is Carol Green of James Madison who shot par in both rounds and leads with a 144.
Sharla Cloutier is the second Tiger in the top 20, tied for 18th with a 155. Avery Kiser is in the 27th spot (158), Taryn Haladay (165) is tied for 43rd and Esty Dwek rounds out the scoring Tigers in 55th (172). Christina Norair (46th, 167) is playing as an individual and her score will not count towards the team totals.
The tournament wraps up tomorrow morning beginning at 9 a.m.
