Tigers Return Home For Men's Soccer Matchup With Adelphi

PRINCETON, N.J. - The men's soccer team looks to repeat its season's best performance at Dartmouth back home tomorrow when it hosts Adelphi at 7:30 p.m. at Lourie-Love Field.
The Tigers are 3-2-2 after winning their first Ivy League game, 3-2, over the Big Green in overtime last Sunday. The win earned them a No. 7 ranking in the NSCAA Middle Atlantic regional poll while their next opponent is currently ninth in the New York region.
Adelphi is 6-3-1 and comes off a double overtime win over ASC rival Philadelphia. This will be the seventh meeting for Tigers and Panthers since their first game in 1995.

The History Book - Princeton is 5-1 against Adelphi, taking the first game 7-3 in 1995 and the last game 2-1 in 2000.
At The Polls - Adelphi has been ranked in the top 10 of the NSCAA regional poll throughout the 2003 season so far. As of Monday, the Panthers are ninth. Princeton is ranked for the first time in 2003 with a No. 7 spot in the Middle Atlantic region. Top Guns - The Tigers outshot Dartmouth 24 to 14 and had six shots in the seven minutes of overtime.
Huge McHugh - Kyle McHugh was named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week when he scored his first two collegiate goals, including the overtime game winner against the Big Green.
Head of Hare - Senior Jeff Hare scored his first goal of the season with a header that opened the Tigers' scoring against Dartmouth.
The Leaderboard - Darren Spicer still leads Princeton's scoring with three goals for six points. McHugh's two goals at Dartmouth put him second on the scoring list followed by Jame Wunsch with a goal and an assist.
White's House - Erik White has played every minute (677:37) in goal for the Tigers. He has 19 saves for a .704 save percentage.
Kickin' It When It Counts - Princeton dominates ball control in overtime, outshooting its opponents 14 to eight.
Last Time Out - Adelphi shut out Philadelphia in the 104th minute when freshman Jose Castillo scored on a penalty kick. The Panthers are now 6-3-1 overall an 2-0 in the Atlantic Soccer Conference.
Crunch Time - Adelphi is 3-1-1 in double overtime matches.
Common Opponent - Adelphi lost 6-0 to Seton Hall, who the Tigers tied 1-1 last Wednesday.
Tough Losses - The Panthers' other losses came to Ivy Leaguer Columbia, 3-2 in double overtime, and to No. 14 St. Johns.
