Miami, Fla. - The Princeton women's golf team shot a 321 on Day 2 of the Pat Bradley Golden Panther Championships and sits in fourth-place with one day of play remaining at the Doral Country Club. Florida International continues to lead the tournament. Freshman Sharla Cloutier is the highest Tiger in the standings in a tie for sixth-place, five strokes behind the overall leader.
The host, Florida International, sits in first with a two-day total of 625. Florida Southern is second at 630 and Longwood is third at 638. The Tigers are one stroke back with a 639. Princeton was tied with Illinois after round one, but the Tigers distanced themselves from the Fighting Illini in Round 2.
Cloutier shot her second 77 of the tournament and is in a tie for sixth with a 154, five strokes off the pace of Florida Atlantic's Natalie Navarro. Avery Kiser shot an 80 today and is tied for ninth with a 156. Taryn Haladay shot an 82 today and is in a tie for 18th at 162.
Meg Nakamura climbed five spots in the second round and is in a tie for 35th at 167. The final scoring member of the Princeton squad, Alexis Etow shot a 91 today and is in 59th. Caitlin Sullivan is entered as an individual and she shot an 81 today and is in a tie for 43rd.
The tournament wraps up tomorrow with the third and final round.
