Men's Tennis Falls at San Diego 5-2

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The 65th-ranked Princeton men's tennis team fell to 9-4 with a 5-2 loss to 29th-ranked San Diego Friday afternoon at The Barnes Tennis Center. Princeton wraps up its spring break road trip tomorrow afternoon at No. 35 San Diego State.
The day began with San Diego taking the doubles point. The Torreros won at the No. 1 and No. 2 spot, while Princeton's duo of Andrew Lieu and Tim Kofol won at No. 3. In the singles portion of the match, Josh Burman earned a straight-set win at No. 2 over Nic Beuque and Lieu defeated Mike Meschede at No. 6. It was Lieu's ninth straight victory and improved him to 14-4 on the season.
