Men's Hockey Places 12 On ECAC All-Academic Team

CAPE COD, Mass. - The Princeton men's hockey team placed 12 of its members on the 2003 ECAC All-Academic team. Three Tigers, seniors Neil McCann, George Parros and Scott Prime were named to the team for the third consecutive season. The announcment was made in conjunction with the ECAC Championship held this weekend in Albany, N.Y.
Joining the three are senior Nate Nomeland, juniors Sharam Fouladgar-Mercer, Dan Hursh, Chris Owen and Steve Slaton, and sophomores Trevor Clay, Jesse Masear, Luc Paquin and Mike Patton.
To be eligible for the All-Academic team, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic year; have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale and must have competed in at least one-half of her team's contests during the current season. In all, 70 student-athletes from the league's 12 schools were honored.
