Women's Tennis Downs Rutgers 5-2

Princeton, N.J. - The Princeton women's tennis team earned a 5-2 win over Rutgers on Wednesday afternoon at Jadwin Gym. The Tigers won the doubles point with a sweep and earned straight set victories in No. 1 and No. 5 singles to improve to 5-3 this spring.
Both straight set wins came from Tiger freshmen. Neha Uberoi took the No.1 singles point with a 6-1, 6-2 victory and Rankin Williams won No. 5 singles with scores of 6-1, 6-1. Junior Jacki Arcario won No. 2 singles 6-0, 0-6, 6-3 and junior Alex Kobishyn won No. 6 singles, 4-6, 7-6(2), 6-4.
Princeton hosts back-to-back matches versus George Washington and Temple this weekend. George Washington visits Jadwin on Saturday at 3 p.m. and Temple plays Princeton on Sunday at 1 p.m.
