Men's Tennis Edges Rutgers 4-3

Princeton, N.J. - The Princeton men's tennis team claimed the doubles point and three singles points to edge Rutgers 4-3 at Jadwin Gym Saturday morning. Trevor Smith, Darius Craton and Daniel Friedman each claimed wins in singles matches.
At doubles, Princeton lost the first match, but wins from Friedman and Craton at No. 2 and Smith and David Gopstein at No. 3 allowed Princeton to take the point. In the singles portion of the match, Smith won at No. 1 6-2, 6-4 and Craton posted a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 3. In the No. 4 spot, Friedman won 6-2, 6-4 to clinch the overall win for Princeton.
The Tigers return to action next Saturday when they host Penn at 2 p.m.
