Women's Tennis Drops 5-2 Decision To Brown

Princeton, N.J. - Kavitha Krishnamurthy and Alison Hashmall won No. 1 and No. 2 singles respectively for Princeton, but the Tigers fell to Brown by a 5-2 score on Saturday afternoon in Jadwin Gym.
The Bears squeaked out the doubles point, taking two of three matches, including a 9-8 win in No. 1 doubles. Krishnamurthy defeated Kerry Meath 6-2, 6-1 to win the first singles point and Hashmall defeated Victoria Beck, also in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4. Brown would take the rest and leave Jadwin with the win.
Princeton is at Harvard and Dartmouth next weekend and returns home on Friday, April 5 when it hosts Cornell.
