Princeton, N.J. - Freshman Neha Uberoi and senior Kavitha Krishnamurthy were both honored by the Ivy League and named first team all-Ivy in both singles and doubles. In addition, Uberoi was named the League's Rookie of the Year.
Krishnamurthy was named a first-team all-Ivy in singles for the third time in her career. It is her first time being named to the first team in doubles. In addition, Krishnamurthy was named the ITA senior Player of the Year earlier in the spring, to bookend a successful career at Princeton that included an Ivy League Championship in 2000.
Uberoi became only the second Princeton woman to be named the Rookie of the Year. The first was Krishnamurthy in 2000. She also becomes the 19th Princeton woman to be named a first-team all-Ivy since 1979.
