Wunsch Named Ivy League Rookie Of The Week In Men's Soccer

PRINCETON, N.J. - Jame Wunsch was named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week after scoring his first collegiate goal and adding an assist to help Princeton go undefeated in its home tournament this weekend.
The freshman midfielder from Londonderry, N.H. set up Darren Spicer in the 35th minute against Loyola, just one minute after the Greyhounds scored on the Tigers, to tie the score 1-1.
In Sunday's matchup with Towson, Wunsch took a shot on goal in the 59th minute but was deflected by the goalkeeper. He repositioned himself for the rebound and this time nailed the ball in the back of the net for his first collegiate goal and the game-winner.
Princeton improved to 2-1-1 and next host Hartwick at the Princeton Stadium this Saturday at 5 p.m.
