Men's And Women's Fencing Teams Dominate Local Rivals

PRINCETON, N.J. - The men's and women's fencing team defeated Stevens and New Jersey Institute of Technology in all three weapons today, including a men's blanking of Stevens in foil and a women's shutout of NJIT in both foil and sabre.
Princeton men's fencing shut out Stevens 9-0 in foil and won 8-1 in sabre and 7-2 in epee. The Tigers also defeated NJIT in all three weapons with a 8-1 win in foil, 6-3 win in sabre and 5-4 edge in epee. Stodola, Bras and Sherman combined for the foil sweep.
The women's team was equally successful against NJIT with 9-0 shutouts in foil and sabre and an 8-1 win in epee. Jew Lim, Leahy and Song all went undefeated in foil and Pack, Mordva and DiMaio swept in sabre.
