Princeton, N.J. - The Princeton women's indoor track team topped Rutgers and St. John's Saturday afternoon at Jadwin Gym. The Tigers finished the meet with 71 points, to the 63 of Rutgers and St. John's 45.
Princeton's first win of the day came from Randy Buzzell in the one mile run in a time of 5:05.46, a half-second ahead of teammate Catha Mullen. Caitlin Tormey posted Princeton's second win in the 800 meters, finishing in a time of 2:18.97, three seconds ahead of the next finisher.
Liz Morse continued the day for Princeton with a win in the 1000 meters in a time of 3:01.45. Claire Filloux won Princeton's fourth race of the day in the 3000 meters with a finish time of 10:04.89, a full 13 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher. The Tigers final win of the afternoon came in the 4x800 meter relay, finishing 24 seconds ahead of Rutgers.
Princeton returns to action on Jan. 24 when it hosts the Princeton Relays at Jadwin Gym.
