Kansky, Trimble to Meet in Finals at National Tennis Center Invitational

QUEENS, N.Y. - Freshman Christine Kansky and sophomore Laura Trimble will play each other in the championship match of the Evonne (E) bracket at the National Tennis Center Intercollegiate Invitational Monday.
Both Kansky and Trimble won two matches apiece Saturday and Sunday to advance to Monday's championship match. Kansky also joined with partner and classmate Natalie Arcario to advance to the quarterfinals.
Freshman Brittany Holland also had a strong performance at the tournament, advancing to the semifinals of the "D" bracket singles before falling Sunday afternoon.
