Miami, Fla. - The Princeton women's golf team leads the field after the first round of the Pat Bradley Invitational, hosted by Florida International on the Blue Monster at the Doral Golf Resort and Spa.
Despite a fierce wind that hampered play all day, senior Avery Kiser fought the wind to put up a one-under 71 to sit atop the individual leaderboard.
The next Tiger score came from freshman Annika Welander who shot a 78. Sophomores Sharla Cloutier and Alexis Etow each shot 79, while senior Meg Nakamura posted an 83. Sophomore Caitlin Sullivan, playing as an individual, also shot an 83.
Princeton shot a collective 307, which placed them sic strokes ahead of Miami in second place. Central Florida (314) and Memphis (315) were third and fourth, while Middle Tennessee State and St. John's tied for fifth (318) of the 15 schools competing.
