QUEENS, N.Y. - Freshman Christine Kansky won four matches, advancing to the quarterfinals in the Evonne (E) flight singles and the No. 2 flight doubles, as the Princeton women's tennis team participated at the USTA National Tennis Center Intercollegiate Invitational Saturday.
Kansky defeated Eunice Chao of Columbia and Kristine Harclerode of Penn State to advance to the quarterfinals of the E flight, losing just four games total in the process. She also joined with classmate Natalie Arcario to advance to the final eight of the No. 2 doubles, upsetting the No. 2 seeds from Kentucky in the process.
Sophomore Laura Trimble also won two singles matches in the E flight, while freshman Brittany Holland won her first two collegiate matches, defeating players from Boston University and Cornell to advance to the quarterfinals of the Doris (D) flight.
