The top-ranked Princeton women's lacrosse team returns home for the first time since last May, hosting No. 9 Virginia in a rematch of last year' s national title game Sunday at Class of 1952 Stadium at 2 p.m. The game will be televised live by CSTV (DirecTV Channel 610, also available on Adelphia Cable Systems).
Princeton is 2-0 after wins at Lafayette and fourth-ranked Loyola; Virginia improved to 4-1 with a 10-9 win at Penn State Friday. The Tigers have won 11 straight games dating back to last April, outscoring their opposition 142-62 in that time.
It doesn't get any easier for the Tigers after Sunday. Next up on the schedule is Duke at Class of 1952 Stadium Wednesday night, a potential early-season No. 1 vs. No. 2 matchup if the rankings hold up from this week.
