Men's Tennis Wins Doubles Point but Falls to San Diego State, 5-2

SAN DIEGO - The 56th-ranked San Diego State men's tennis team ran its win streak to two matches with a 5-2 victory over Princeton on Monday afternoon at Fairbanks Ranch Country Club.
The Aztecs lost all three doubles matches, but rallied to claim five of six singles matches to post the victory.
The Tigers dominated doubles play, winning two matches 8-4 and the other by an impressive 8-1 score. Sratha Saengsuwarn and Tim Kofol won 8-1 at No. 2, while Darius Craton and Daniel Friedman won easily at No. 1 and Andrew Lieu and Hans Plukas won at No. 3. San Diego State got straight set victories from Michael Coehlo at number six, Daniel Jung at number three and 69th-ranked Felix Hardt at number one. Up 3-2, the Aztecs clinched the team victory when Dontia Haynes claimed a 2-6, 6-2, 6-4 victory at number five singles.
Saengsuwarn completed an outstanding day by winning at No. 4 singles, 6-1 and 6-1, over SDSU's Armando Carrascosa.
Princeton continues its California trip with a match against Purdue Thursday.
