Men's Tennis Gets Impressive Win over No. 57 Purdue, 5-2

SAN DIEGO - The Princeton men's tennis team picked up an impressive win Thursday in San Diego, winning four of six singles matches on the way to a 5-2 win over 57th-ranked Purdue.
The Tigers lost just 12 games combined in victories at the Nos. 2 through 5 singles positions. Darius Craton lost just one game in a straight-set victory over David Robinson at No. 2, while Sratha Saengsuwarn lost just three games in a victory at No. 3. Both Andrew Lieu and David Gopstein won 6-2, 6-2 decisions at Nos. 4 and 5 singles.
Princeton took the doubles point thanks to victories at Nos. 2 and 3 doubles. Lieu and Hans Plukas won 8-2 at No. 3, while Saengsuwarn and Tim Kofol won easily at the No. 2 position. Princeton 5, #57 Purdue 2
