Men's Tennis Falls to No. 37 San Diego, 6-1

SAN DIEGO - The Princeton men's tennis team continued its Spring Break trip to California with a 6-1 defeat at the hands of 37th-ranked San Diego as part of the San Diego College Tennis Challenge Friday afternoon.
Daniel Friedman was Princeton's only singles winner, splitting the first two sets with Jason Pongsrikul 5-7 and 6-4 before winning a 10-point tiebreak, 10-3, to win the match. The match was a close one however, with the last three singles matches all going to three sets. Andrew Lieu, David Gopstein and Shannon Morales all lost tough three-setters for Princeton, with Morales falling in a tiebreak in the final set.
San Diego won three close doubles matches to take the doubles point.
