April 30, 2026 | Men's Tennis
Make that three years and three first-team All-Ivy League singles selections for Paul Inchauspe. Make that four years and four All-Ivy League singles selections for Top Nidunjianzan.
Inchauspe was named a unanimous first-team singles player, the league announced Thursday, marking the third straight year the junior has earned the honor. Nidunjianzan was named a second-team All-Ivy singles selection, giving him four All-Ivy singles honors in his career.
Inchauspe and Nidunjianzan were named second-team All-Ivy in doubles, while senior Sebastian Sec was an honorable mention singles player and Academic All-Ivy League pick.
The All-Ivy news reached all the way to the University of Texas, where Princeton is preparing to take on Southern Methodist in the opening round of the NCAA tournament Friday morning (11 am Eastern/10 am Central). The winner of that match will play the winner of Texas and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in Saturday's second round, with the winner to advance to the Sweet 16.
SMU is in the NCAA tournament for the fourth time in the last five years after missing the postseason a year ago, when the Mustangs went 2-11 in the ACC. This time around, SMU went 8-5 in the league. Princeton enters the tournament at 16-10, with wins over five NCAA teams.
Between them the teams have 21 losses, of which 18 have come against teams that have reached the NCAA field. The teams have played twice before, neither in this century.
