Women's Fencers In Seventh Place After Day One At NCAA Championships

The Princeton women's team is in seventh place out of 25 teams after four rounds at the NCAA Fencing Championships at Brandeis. Jacqueline Leahy has the highest standing of the four Tigers, in third place out of 24 competitors in foil.
The Tigers earned 29 points and are 34 points behind leader Notre Dame. Ivy League rivals Columbia and Penn are currently ahead of Princeton in fourth and fifth place. Mina Morova is in 11th place out of 24 competitors in saber, Sara Jew-Lim in 21st place in foil and Erin McGarry is in 21th place in foil.
Rounds 5-7 take place tomorrow, Friday March 26 beginning at 10 a.m. The Gold Medal Bouts are scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
