Williamsburg, Va. - The Princeton women's golf team shot back-to-back 311's to place third in the William & Mary Invitational at Ford's Colony-Marsh Hawk Golf Course. James Madison won the two-day event with a 618. Yale finished three stroke back in second and Princeton was one stroke off of Yale. Ohio and Elon rounded out the top five.
The Tigers were led by three players who each shot 154's and tied for sixth. The trio of Avery Kiser, Sharla Cloutier and Meg Nakamura were among eight golfers who tied for the spot. Yale's January Romero won the event with a 145. Princeton's other scoring players were Alexis Etow (T-33rd; 160) and Caitlin Sullivan (T-56th; 164). Taryn Haladay (T-56th; 160) competed as an individual.
