EIWA Championships
Wrestlers Must Take Long Route To Potential NCAA Bid

PHILADELPHIA - The first session of the EIWA championships failed to go Princeton's way, as each of the ten Tigers were eliminated before the semifinal round. Heavyweight Joe Looke and 133-pounder Brian Kirschbaum provided the lone sparks with Princeton's only wins, but both fell in the quarterfinals.
All is not lost yet for the Tigers, though, as there are a number of NCAA bids that will be handed out to successful wrestlers in the consolation brackets. A total of 19 bids are available for consolation members, although it will be a tough road for each one.
Here are the championship round results for each wrestler. Check www.GoPrincetonTigers.com, or the EIWA web site (/sports/m-wrestl/spec-rel/04eiwa.html), tomorrow to see if any of the Tigers qualified for the NCAA tournament.
