Women's Lightweight Crew Repeats At Knecht Cup

CAMDEN, NJ - The women's lightweight crew won its second straight Knecht Cup Sunday at Cooper River in Camden, N.J., where the Tigers will later race for the national title. Princeton defeated a familiar foe, Radcliffe, which it topped last season in the same race.
Princeton finished in 7:06.2, more than two seconds faster than Radcliffe's finish. Wisconsin was barely edged out for third. Princeton, the five-time defending national champion, will take on Radcliffe next weekend in a rematch, this time on the Charles.
