Snyder Earns Third Ivy League Pitcher of the Week Honor

Princeton, N.J. - Erin Snyder was named the Ivy League Co-Pitcher of the Week, her third honor in four weeks this season. The sophomore ace earned two wins and struck out 29 batters in four appearances last week when the Tigers went 3-3.
She opened the week with a 5-1 win at Lehigh, where she struck out six and gave up just one hit and one walk in five innings. She then struck out nine batters and allowed just two hits, no walks and no runs in a shutout over Dartmouth.
Snyder finished the week with a marathon performance at Harvard, pitching all 20 innings and striking out a season-high 13 batters. She allowed no earned runs. Harvard pitcher Kara Brotemarkle also pitched all 20 innings and was named Ivy League Co-Pitcher of the Week with Snyder.
